Chantel's Blog:
I am really tired of hearing excuses. "I'll start exercising after the holidays", "I could do better if I had more money", "no one supports me!" ...blah, blah, BLAH!
Listen up: You may be 100 percent correct. Seriously, your entire life may improve if some of your challenging circumstances were to either go away or get better. But on the other hand, what drives you to want to see improvement in the first place?
The fact you are IMPERFECT! And guess what folks. You always will be.
I've yet to meet someone that says
"I've officially got the perfect life, in everyway. In fact, I am perfect, my body is perfect, the amount of money I have is just perfect, and so is my teenager!"
Perfection and progress can go together once you realize that the only way to get there is by letting go of your definition of perfection and redefining it as making progress! THIS way you become closer to perfection simply by making headway and you also accept that there is always room for improvement. Not only will this take pressure off of you...It should also make you realize all your excuses are HAULTING any progress PERIOD! Any perfect progress is possible everyday.
